Is this study and my personal information kept confidential?
Your participation and information are kept confidential and will not be shared with anyone else including college instructors, staff or administrators. Only the prinicpal investigator will have access to study data. It will not impact your grade or standing in any way at the college.
What will I be doing in this study?
You will be asked to do several short tasks in a sample online course using a website. You will also be asked questions in an online survey about your experience and perceptions of the online course. Your feedback is valuable to this study.
How long is a session? 30 minutes approximately
When and where?
You participation with this study is entirely online. No traveling is required. You may participate using your own computer or laptop.
The study will begin Feb. 2nd, 2015 and responses will be collected until Feb. 28, 2015
This study has received full IRB (Ethics Board) approval for human research and testing from both SUNY at Buffalo and Erie Community College's IRB Boards.
